COURSE DESCRIPTION

 A Biblical Theology of Christian Education  (16 Lectures)  A course that should be taken by everyone who teaches

COURSE RATIONALE

This course is designed to provide the student with an  understanding of the foundational  principles of Christian Education. This understanding will provide the basis for effective teaching and witnessing of the Word of God. The student will be prepared to take his or her place in the education ministry of the church as it carries forth the work designed by its Savior and Founder.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course:

1. The student will understand the role that education plays in the mandate of witnessing. 

2. The student will understand the history of the witnessing mandate of teaching

3. The student will understand the content of the witnessing mandate of teaching

4. The student will understand the means  of the witnessing mandate of teaching

 

METHOD OF INSTRUCTION

Instruction methods will include online lectures and assigned bible readings.

Student achievement will be evaluated by a multiple choice exam at the end of the course.
