COURSE DESCRIPTION

 Developing Effective Teaching Strategies  (24 Lectures)  Developing skills in carrying out effective teaching techniques

COURSE RATIONALE

This course is designed to provide the student with a foundational understanding of the principles of Christian Education. This understanding will provide the basis for effective teaching and discipleship in the church. The student will be prepared to take his or her place in the ministry of the church as it carries forth the work designed by its Savior and Founder.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course:

1. The student will understand the basics of Christian Education.

2. The student will understand the importance of spiritual growth in students

3. The student will be familiar with useful strategies for teaching .

4. The student will understand the biblical foundations of Christian Education.

 

METHOD OF INSTRUCTION

Instruction methods will include online lectures and assigned bible readings.

Student achievement will be evaluated by a multiple choice exam at the end of the course.
