COURSE DESCRIPTION
A Survey of the Literature of the New Testament. (21 Lectures) John Chapter 8 through 1 Corinthians Chapter 7
COURSE RATIONALE
This course is designed to provide the student with a foundational understanding of the New Testament revelation. This understanding will provide the basis for accurate biblical teaching and preaching of the text of the New Testament. It will also provide the contextual grounding needed for further biblical studies.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course:
1. The student will understand the vital theme of each book of the New Testament and its importance to the biblical canon.
2. The student will understand the historical context of each book in the New Testament
3. The student will be familiar with each book of the New Testament through a survey of its contents
METHOD OF INSTRUCTION
Instruction methods will include online lectures and assigned bible readings.
Student achievement will be evaluated by a multiple choice exam at the end of the course.
