COURSE DESCRIPTION
An Overview of the Epistle to the Hebrews (24 Lectures) Studies in the book of Hebrews
COURSE RATIONALE
This course is designed to provide the student with the foundational understanding of the epistle to the Hebrews. This understanding will provide the basis for accurate biblical teaching and preaching of the doctrines and truths described in the book. It will also provide the contextual grounding needed for further biblical studies.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course:
1. The student will understand the vital themes and doctrines presented in the book of Hebrews and its importance to the biblical canon.
2. The student will understand the historical context of the book of Hebrews and its relationship to both the Old and New Testaments.
3. The student will be familiar with each book of Hebrews through a survey of its contents
METHOD OF INSTRUCTION
Instruction methods will include online lectures and assigned bible readings.
Student achievement will be evaluated by a multiple choice exam at the end of the course.
