COURSE DESCRIPTION
A Survey of the book of Romans (18 Lectures)
COURSE RATIONALE
This course is designed to provide the student with a foundational understanding of the Epistle to the Romans. This understanding will provide the basis for accurate biblical teaching and preaching of the text of the New Testament. It will also provide the contextual grounding needed for further biblical studies.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course:
1. The student will understand the five major doctrines contained in the book of Romans and their importance to the Christian faith.
2. The student will understand the historical context of the book of Romans in the New Testament
3. The student will be familiar with the book of Romans through a survey of its contents
METHOD OF INSTRUCTION
Instruction methods will include online lectures and assigned bible readings.
Student achievement will be evaluated by a multiple choice exam at the end of the course.
