COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

Women in Scripture and Church History   (15 Lectures)  A study about women in history and today.

 

COURSE RATIONALE

 

This course is designed to provide the student with an understanding of the contributions and roles of women in Scripture and church history. The course will trace the development  of the church as it progressed through its history and discusses the important contributions that women made to that history. 

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

 

Upon completion of this course:

 

1. The student will understand the history of women in the Church.

 

2. The student will understand the roles of women the Church

 

3. The student will understand the contributions of women in the functioning of the early church.

 

4. The student will understand the contributions of women though out scripture

 

 

 

METHOD OF INSTRUCTION

 

Instruction methods will include online lectures and assigned bible readings.

 

Student achievement will be evaluated by a multiple choice exam at the end of the course.
